Trustek recruits proptech expert Andre Bothma

With a multifaceted career spanning over two decades in real estate technology, venture capital, strategic consultancy, and real estate management, Andre brings to Trustek a wealth of experience in driving innovation and fostering growth in the PropTech sector.

Previously, Andre made significant contributions at JLL, pioneering smart building offerings that evolved into globally digitised and dynamic services. Andre played a pivotal role at JLL Spark in a $400 million corporate venture fund, supporting with pre investment due-diligence and strategic consulting and growth in a portfolio of over 55 start-ups globally.

Through technology audits, digital building consultancy, management support, and own Verified Marketplace, Trustek support the entire proptech lifecycle for commercial properties.

Freddie has a foundation in commercial real estate having worked for over 10 years with some of the most prestigious landlords in the Central London office market, such as LaSalle Investments, Shaftesbury and Blackstone. Back in 2018 he pivoted his career to build and launch a tenant engagement mobile app and smart building platform call Savvy. Savvy was deployed in 15 buildings across the country and is used by thousands each day as well landlords like Derwent London and Clearbell. Freddie’s background in both real estate and technology enables him to understand the nuances in both commercial and technology development processes. It also drives his passion for seeing underutilised proptech succeed and ensure that any technology provides an enjoyable experience for customers.
