The project

Building Size: 40,000 sqft
Location: City of London
Service: Building Audit and Digital Building Consultancy

The challenge

With an ambitious target to have a NetZero portfolio by 2040 and a requirement to refurbish the London offices to a standard that supports this target, Redevco knew that technology needed to be part of the transformation.

As owner occupiers, Redevco's challenge for the property was to understand the existing technology and, where appropriate, procure and implement new technology alongside the retrofit, that fulfiled the ambitious ESG goals.

The solution

The first solution was complete a Building Audit on the property to assess the existing technology, how well it was used, and identify gaps in the tech stack that would need to be addressed alongside the ongoing refurbishment.

Trustek were then appointed at RIBA Stage 2 as Digital Building Consultants to support the technology strategy for the development. Working in collaboration with other consultants we defined the required property technologies to fulfil the client's ambitious needs for a smart building.
