The Challenge

Morgan Capital have been proactively managing their energy consumption across their portfolio with a proptech provider, however they had challenges with the level of automation and reporting available and had been approached by several companies offering to install their technology across their managed portfolio.

Morgan Capital engaged Trustek to support them with this procurement strategy and compare the market providers to the incumbent.

The Solution

Trustek completed a competitive procurement exercise on Morgan Capital’s behalf, engaging with both the companies that had approached Morgan Capital directly and recommending additional companies that were in the process of becoming Verified.

Demand Logic were selected by Morgan Capital are now rolling out their solution out across the portfolio. As part of the solution, Demand Logic are including IAQ sensors and AMRs to give Morgan Capital, and their tenants, greater visibility of each asset’s consumption and air quality.

The Value

Through competitive procurement, Trustek were able to reduce ongoing service charge costs by more than 60% and improved the level of transparency and data on the optimisation of their buildings.

Trustek look forward to seeing the savings that have been achieved by Demand Logic next year.
