The project

Building Size: 320,000
Location: City of London
Service: Building Audit

The Building

Tower 42 is London’s original skyscraper and this iconic City tower prides itself on breaking the mould of traditional office asset management. It has retained WiredScore Platinum for several years even as the requirements for accreditation have intensified.

The Challenge

Tower 42 has a track record of continuous evolution, adapting to ensure it remains as relevant today as it ever has been. 2023 sees a major upgrade to the M&E infrastructure to become all electric - a major step forward on the journey to becoming net-zero carbon in operation. The work exemplifies the Tower’s ESG credentials, and maintains the focus on exceptional customer experience for both the existing and prospective occupiers. As part of this, the owner wanted to interrogate what technology was already available within the building, how well utilised it was, and whether there was any scope for further improvements to be made.

The Solution

Trustek were brought in to complete a full technology audit of the asset, understand the existing technology stack, and provide a gap analysis to support the refurbishment strategy.

Even though the building was completed in the 1980’s the building achieved one of the highest Audit Score that we completed in 2022. A testament to the continued investment in the building and the future investments that are planned.
